To compete for the end of year trophies you must be a member of Thurrock Riding Club.
The points are awarded as follows:
1st Place - 6 points, 2nd Place - 5 points, 3rd Place - 4 points, 4th Place - 3 points, 5th Place - 2 points, 6th Place - 1 point.
We award trophies for Jumping, Dressage, Showing and Cross Country.
We will also be awarding an overall champion, this will be awarded to the Thurrock Member that has attained the most points in all spheres (Jumping / Dressage / Showing / Cross Country).
You start accumulating points from the first show after we have received your application, if you join on a show day you will not be awarded points for those classes but from the next show onwards.
The only exception to the above is if you are a renewing member as you will start accumulating points from the first show of the year, if you haven't rejoined by the beginning of July you will forfiet these points.
If you are eliminated i.e. Jumping but still placed you will not be awarded points.
